Each Episode DVD contains the 2004 Special Edition, as well as the unaltered theatrical cut as a bonus disc. These DVDs are only available for a limited time. In less than a week (14th) Nintendo will be hosting the "Celebration of Games" event in New York City. And the internet is buzzing with speculation. The most notable of which is the idea that this would be as good of place as any for Nintendo to finally put to rest all the rumors about pricing and release dates, with an officail announcement of both facts. So coming this Thrusday you can expect the gamerpost staff to be glued to their computers all day long, and if our hopes are indeed confirmed then you can expect information to be post shortly thereafter, by the person who can type the fastest, before rushing off at nearly legal speeds to our nearest Gamestop location to place preorders.

We'll keep you updated...

Just recently announced, was a new, suprise Lucasarts title for the Nintendo DS and PSP: Star Wars: Lethal Alliance.

Set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, the player assumes the roles of Twi'Lek Rianna Saren and her security droid Zeeo. Hired by the newly-formed Rebel Alliance, the two must infiltrate and uncover details on the Empire's unknown secret weapon. The two will have to fight off Imperials, and all of the galaxy's scum on the way.

From the orginal article from Ubisoft:

"We have worked closely with LucasArts to create a game that further develops the Star Wars universe, and unveils some of the mysteries that have kept millions of fans enthralled for decades," said a representative from Ubisoft.

Rianna will be armed with elite weaponry, technological trickery, acrobatic skills and the support of her fully-functional defensive droid to accomplish her mission. Fans will explore well-known Star Wars locales like Coruscant and wretched hive of sin and villainy, Mos Eisley. Players will also encounter classic icons from the series such as: Boba Fett, Princess Leia, Stormtroopers and Darth Vader. Neither version will be playable online. However, the DS version supports up to four person multiplayer via local Wi-fi and the PSP version has one-on-one multiplayer if both players have the game.

Star Wars: Lethal Alliance for both PSP and DS is scheduled to ship to stores December 2006.
