Blizzard has just released new information about a third dungeon being released in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. The dungeon is called Caverns of Time. Apparently the story for ths dungeon invlvoes "elusive threat" to the caverns someone has infiltrated it and seeks to change the course of events in Azeroth.

What's even more impressive is the events being protected.

"Young Thrall's escape from Durnholde Keep, the first step on the path to his ascension as the greatest warchief the orcs have ever known... The momentous Battle of Mount Hyjal, where Jaina, Thrall, Tyrande, and Malfurion succeeded in turning the tide against the dreaded demon, Archimonde...

And the opening of the original Dark Portal by the crazed wizard Medivh – an action that ushered in the First War and introduced the mighty orcs to the world of Azeroth." All three are key events in Warcraft Lore. This is probably the dungeon i will be the most eager to take on.

You can check it out here.

Though not posted officially on Lucasarts.com, the one-level demo for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy has been released. The demo features the entire third level of Episode IV, which has Ben Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 searching Mos Eisley for a suitable ride to Alderaan.

This demo showcases several of the new features in this follow-up to the surprise hit, LEGO Star Wars. Among these are the new special abilities inherent to each character, including Ben's mind trick and Chewbacca's ability to rip anyone's arms off. You also get to build and drive an AT-ST, and if it be your whim, you can go on a mindless rampage in Mos Eisley (reminds me of The Episode I game).

After you beat the level, you can replay it in the trademark Free Mode where you can play as a number of characters, from Emperor Palpatine with his force-lightning, to a Womp Rat, to Darth 3PO! Yes that's right. In this sequel you have the ability to mix and match any characters you have into a unique character, with amalgamated specials. The word is that if you have all the characters on the first LEGO Star Wars, you can play as any of them or amalgamate from them in LEGO Star Wars II, which we would assume, is a result of having a saved game on your memory card (PS2, Xbox, GCN, PC).

LEGO Star Wars II arrives on September 12, along with the indiviual releases of the Original, Unaltered Trilogy. The game will be available for Gameboy Advance, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox and Xbox 360.

As the time for release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade approaches Blizzard has revealed what classes will be playable for the two new races being introduced in the expansion pack. The World of Warcraft community has already been buzzing over last weeks announcement of Horde Paladins and Alliance Shaman. Allowing players on both sides to finally experience classes that were once only playable to the opposing factio. This announcement has been meet with mixed reations, some responded with great anticipation others with pure disgust.

Blizzard has now announced the rest of the classes available to each race. The Horde recieves the Blood Elf race, and with them they bring the classes of Paladin, Hunter, Rouge, Preist, Mage, and Warlock. The Alliance get the Draenei and Warrior, Palaidin, Hunter, Preist, Shaman, and Mage.

One of the biggest surprises to come out of this announcement is the fact that the Blood Elves will NOT be able to play as Warriors making them the only race to lack this ability. Should make this interesting especially see tons of Blood Elf paladins and Draenei shaman running around. The basics of the game will be changed forever.

I'll keep you updated on Blizzard news.
