In a recent mix-up regarding the US release date of Super Mario Galaxy, with the date circling around November 12, 13 & 14, Nintendo has confirmed that the official date is November 12. The reason for the other two dates was due to better release saturation, since many stores would not have them up until the following day. If you pre-ordered the game, you should be receiving your commemorative coin upon pickup of the game.

After collecting all 120 stars, beating the purple coin challenges and beating final Bowser a second time, players unlock Luigi as a playable character! He runs faster and jumps higher, but has trouble stopping, making Super Luigi Galaxy that much more of a challenge! Replay value is just doubled.
